About European Casinos Online

This site exists to answer one question for UK readers: if you are going to open an account at a casino licensed elsewhere in Europe, which ones publish terms you can actually read, and what are you giving up by leaving the UK-regulated market?

It is written by one person rather than a content team. Callum Fairweather spent nine years in payments operations handling chargebacks and disputes for card acquirers before moving into publishing, and the editorial angle follows from that: licensing, cashier mechanics and bonus terms get the attention, game counts do not.

How the shortlist is built. Each operator's welcome-offer page is read for four things: the wagering multiple, the maximum bet permitted while wagering, the game contribution table, and whether the offer is single or multi-deposit. The registration-to-cashier path is walked to see which deposit methods a UK visitor is actually shown. The footer licence is recorded. Operators that publish all of this plainly rank above operators that do not, independently of how large the headline offer is.

What is deliberately not claimed. There are no measured withdrawal times on this site, because we cannot verify them from the outside, and no numerical ratings, because a score you cannot reconstruct from stated inputs is decoration rather than information. Where a figure is an operator's own claim it is described as such.

Funding and independence. We earn commission when a reader opens an account through a link on this site. That arrangement pays for the work and does not set the order of the list; the ranking criteria above are applied the same way to operators regardless of commercial terms, and several operators we rank in the lower half pay more than ones we rank above them.

Corrections are welcome and acted on. Bonus terms in particular change more often than anything else here, so if you find a figure that no longer matches the operator's own page, tell us at info@europeancasinosonline.com and the operator's page wins.
